How to be mentally healthy

We oftenly hears that “If you want to be happy ,you have to be physically and mentally fit”. But in this life of full day work, we always remains busy in our school,homework ,projects, office work, household chores etc. Or the time we get after our whole day work ,we spend it in browsing, scrolling down through social media or play online games. These are the habits which really makes us mentally ill.
But ,if we will try to get rid out of this unhealthy lifestyle and want to achieve something in our life along with our mental wellness ,then remove these habits and add new habits in your lifestyle.
So, let's see how to improve mental health or how to be mentally healthy.
1.Do physical activities:-
The most ignored thing is physical activities. We are focusing on our projects, presentation etc but we never thinks about our physical activities. Now-a-days ,we spend most of our day or may be full day in front of screens which are making us inactive and lazy . Exercises makes our mental health better by reducing stress, anxiety and depression. Even for 10-15 minutes , do exercises daily ,it will keep your mental as well as physical health balanced.
2.Healthy diet:-
Because of our busy schedule we always sacrifice our food. We should always keep a thing in mind that some people can’t afford to eat even a single thing. And even getting a tummy full food,we are not eating it just because of our work. If we will only focus on our work not our diet , gradually we will become very weak and cannot do something in our life with full potential. Have a good diet full of vegetables ,never skip meals because of your work .
3.Meditation:-
With a lots of stress in our mind, sometimes we totally frustrates and fed up ofour work . In that situation the best thing you can do is “meditation” for 10-15 minutes to fresh our mind, so that we can work with full concentration and energy again. It keeps people calm, patient and helps in mental as well as emotional well being. One should try meditation , it has a lots of health benefits.
4.Sleep:-
Now-a-days, people prefer to cut their sleeping hours as they thought that " If I will not sleep ,I can do more work". But, it’s the most biggest reason for not mentally well being. Suppose ,we have not taken our sleep properly then after waking up the next day , we will feel totally exhausted and 0% energy with full of anger and frustration. The problem arises from this .We should change this habit immediately. If we will not sleep properly, it will have adverse effect on our health. We all should take a proper amount of sleep.
5.Have Fun:-
After getting free from your full day schedule or routine, try to spend the remaining time with yourself or with your family by talking with them, walking with them in the nature, have dinner etc. Basically ,have a good bond with family makes you feel happy , relaxed and comfortable. Try to spend more and more time with them.
